16 performers, 1 epic night. Random mixed order. Top 2 per type move on.

How do I enter the Heat Karaoke competition in the Tri-Cities? +
Create a free account, pick your style and competition night, and pay your $20 + tax entry online. Registration closes 15 minutes before each event — there are no onsite sign-ups. You must be 21 or older to compete.
Where are the karaoke competition nights held? +
At The Dugout venues in the Tri-Cities, WA — Southridge Dugout in Kennewick and Richland Dugout in Richland. Each night's venue is listed on the competitions page.
Is there a cash prize? +
Yes. Half of every entry fee goes straight into the prize pool, and the season ends with a Grand Finals cash pot plus Dugout gift cards and a $1,000 cash prize for the Grand Champion.
How much does it cost to compete? +
$20 + tax per night. Within 24 hours of an event a $5 late fee applies ($25 + tax). Retries in a second qualifier night are $10 + tax.
What music styles can I compete in? +
Four styles: Showtunes; Pop / Hip-Hop / R&B / Gospel; Rock & Metal; and Country. Each style has its own qualifier nights.
How does the competition work? +
Sing one song per night and the judges score you. Top scorers in each style advance from the Qualifiers to the Semifinals (Top 16), and finalists battle for the title at the Grand Finals.
